Overachiever! :hide
No kidding! That's a lot of work! I got all the legs and backstrap done yesterday. I cut the lower parts of the legs for lamb shanks for soup and stew. My neighbor brought his pruning loppers over for cutting through the bones, it was fantastic! So much better than hacking with a hatchet or a bone saw or hack saw. Clean cut, easy and fast. I got mine out, cleaned, scrubbed, cloroxed and sharpened and used it in the house. I'm going to buy a new pair, dedicated to indoor use only! This afternoon, I'll be grinding meat and working up all the little pieces.

Still 36* at 9:30...less wind makes it more tolerable. Sure cold for chores tho. Inside for cooking, laundry, etc. To town for load of feed later, animals gotta eat. Down 17 goats in past 3 months -- that helps with feed bill. I'm on a roll. Plan to reduce about 10 more 🤞. Before I know it, kidding will begin.
