It's not a problem if the power goes out, what will be a problem is if the internet goes out. W/the generator, I'm still able to get on line. I want to get something, don't know what yet, that I can take w/me when I go away, or when we have a power outage, that has one of those satellite cards in it. Then hopefully, I'd never loose my connection.

When is it supposed to hit you and how close to the ocean are you?

I'm no where near the ocean! I'm closer to the Delaware Bay, but I'm not THAT close. So, I don't have to worry about any storm surge. What I do need to worry about is flooding and downed trees. We don't have any really large trees next to the house any more. We do have some that are fairly tall, but they wouldn't do that much damage. (Hopefully!)

As to when it's supposed to hit, last I hear it was sometime Saturday night/Sunday morning.

And, we may not lose our power. Miracles do happen. There's others on the board that I think are closer to the shore. I'm hoping everyone stays safe.

I just checked the forecast. They had been calling for the rain to start tomorrow afternoon, now they're saying maybe this afternoon! I'm going to be busy!

Getting any wind or rain yet, DD?

Not yet. We could get some showers at any time now, but so far, it isn't bad, just a typical summer evening.

I'm beat. I told my boss that I could only work until 12:00, that I had a ton of stuff that I needed to get done. So, what time did we finally finish working? 1:00! And, I'm too beat to do anything more tonight. I had a couple of errands to run, so I didn't even get back to the farm until almost 2:00. My horse trailer was in RU's yard. That' where I left it when we got back from the ride we didn't have. So, I hitched that up, and brought it where it belongs. I had no desire to leave it where it was. RU has a couple of good sized trees there, didn't want to take any chance on having one of them falling and messing it up. I did put a ton of stuff in it. And, it took me forever. I wasn't able to leave until around 5:40. When I got home, I had to take my bike, and get it filled w/gas, then come home And, I"m beat. Im too tierd to even get any dinner. So far I've had a chocolate bar. Just one more week of work, then my life will get so much easier.

I'm counting down the days with you! You will like it so much more being off work. And that job sounds too hard anyway. Working at the nature center sounds much nicer.
