Been thinking about your loud boom, and may have it figured out. Do you ever have any semis near your house? I'm not sure what makes them do it, but I have heard a loud boom from them B4.

Hope your pain eases some so you can get some relief.

Yes, Highway 50 runs right by the house here a few hundred feet away, I was thinking a semi truck as well...didn't see anything...just scared the dickens out of me, and the dogs. LOL

Pain pills still making me sick to my stomach, been sleeping through it mostly. I try not to take these horrid pills, but sometimes the pain gets the better of me, so I take one, then sleep. I sure hope the next month flies by quickly. Thats when I get this stupid pin out of my toe.

So, I was sleeping off the pain pills....and the sickness, when my son calls. He just wanted to see how I was doing....we talked for a few minutes when I told him I needed to lay back down because I was feeling sick to my stomach. Then the dogs wanted out...so I hobbled down the stairs to let them out, and noticed one of my little black spanish turkeys didn't make it, I grabbed it out of the brooder...and was waiting patiently on the dogs to do their business..when a wave of nausea came over me like a freight train. So I stepped out back to get some fresh air..and glanced at the sheep pen. I saw something in the pen...not sure if Nelly had her lamb, or there was something else in there. I hurried the dogs back in the house...hobbled as fast as I could up the stairs, and woke my son...who was sleeping as well. I threw open the door...." JASON WAKE UP, EITHER NELLY HAD A LAMB, OR THERE IS SOMETHING IN THE PEN WITH THEM!!!!" He jumped out of bed....threw on his shoes as I was grabbing the keys to the truck. I can't walk to the barn, so I drove out there, and sure enough, Nelly had a little doe. A Chocolate brown, tiny little doe!!

Its not a great picture....but all I could muster with my foot throbbing!
aS I was leaving the barn, Nelly layed back down.....maybe another on the way!?? My son will go check later. I will let you know.

Thanks everyone. I Had my son open the gate so Nelly could bring the doeling outside today. The sun is shining..and its warm. Nelly walked to the open door...and butted the doeling out into the yard...and she stood in the doorway. She did let little Bailey back inside after a few minutes. Oh, Bailey, thats what we named her.
I was sitting on the front porch for a little bit, but the foot is really hurting today, so I am back inside, waiting on the pain pill to take effect. I have been trying to not take them...but wow, I can't go too long without. Going to see the Dr Wednesday....maybe he can see if there is a reason it is hurting so much.

glad the birth was uneventful for you!!

I hope your foot feels better - I can't take any of those 'major' pain pills, it's just tylenol or advil/motrin for me. I hurl as soon as one of those other big meds hits my mouth.

Justy, what kind of operation did you have on your foot? I know you mentioned before but I can't remember.
