Here's a GOOD NEWS update- my FH and I went to look at a couple more houses last night and we put an offer on one. It's a small house but it will suit us just fine. It's in a small town a few miles from where we are currently located but there was no houses in our price range here so we had to venture out.

WWe closed on the house yesterday afternoon and got the keys so we went shopping afterwards and got stuff we needed so we're moving in today. This AM I'm going to be dropped off so I can clean the floors and polish them plus put some stuff away while FH comes back to get a couple of other friends and to wait for the moving container company to show up to deliver the moving container to the new house. I didn't want to leave it yesterday when we went to do the final walk through. I do can't wait to share a video or pics with all of you.

Good Morning ALL!! I know I keep saying I wil post a vid or pics of my new home and I'M GOING TO as soon as we get the landscaping of the overgrown out of control flower beds under control and in shape. He's been working so much and long hours that our stuff gets pushed back. I do what I can but I don't use any of the gas powered tools (chainsaw, weed eater, trimmers and so on). It's not that I'm afraid of them but I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to keep them under my control or I would cut too much or even hurt myself while using them
HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVE EVERYONE!!!!!

If he let her talk him into letting you go, then he ain't worth squat. He may regret his decision at some point and resent her for meddling in his life, but right now - he said goodbye and it is his loss.

I too grew up without all the nice things that my friends had. But I had a wonderful childhood full of homemade love. Blanket forts, bike riding, rollerskating and painting pictures in the basement on hot summer days... things that my friends thought were so weird and wonderful whenever they came to visit. And so many good memories that hold me strong during tough times as an adult.

You will meet someone who can truly appreciate the wonderful person that you are. Until then, take care of you and remember that it reflects badly on him and not you. You are hurting now, and eventually that hurt will die away and become less. I still hurt when I think of my first love, who left me for someone else almost 30 years ago - and that little bit of hurt will always be there, but it makes me appreciate the man I married and love so much more and completely than my 1st love ever could have.

Well, here's another update for you all. Besides planning our wedding, my boyfriend and I are also looking to purchase our first home. So far we can't agree on anything that either of us see or want to check out. I am feeling to just go with whatever he wants and to stop helping with trying to find us home, Did anyone else have this issue? If so, how did you resolve the it?
Make a list of what you both want.

when DH and I were looking, we wanted main floor bedroom and main floor laundry, huntable land, fences, established fruit tree(s), etc. Our list was more about the land than the house!
