I don't know who all saw my post but I lost my Mom on June 21, 2021. She had beaten the lung cancer but her potassium levels remained low and her antibodies kept attacking her immune system. Here in 3 days it will be 9 months since she passed. I still have good days and bad days.

Sorry I didn't see your post. Condolences. It hurts to lose a parent. In my case I lost my mom in June of 2021 then my dad in Sept of 2021. Not a good year here all around. It is a part of life but you don't have to like it and you have to get up and keep on going. I had both knees replaced the end of Oct 2021 so still getting "my feet back under me"....literally.

I’m so sorry about your mom. It’s tough to lose a parent. I hope you can start having more good days. In time, the hurt will lessen and there will be more good memories.
The hurt had lessened some but her birthday is coming up (actually tomorrow 3/20) so the sadness crept back in. I still have so many unanswered questions and know they will forever go unanswered.

Well, here's another update for you all. Besides planning our wedding, my boyfriend and I are also looking to purchase our first home. So far we can't agree on anything that either of us see or want to check out. I am feeling to just go with whatever he wants and to stop helping with trying to find us home, Did anyone else have this issue? If so, how did you resolve the it?

In some areas, they want a letter with a loan limit. Can’t blame real estate agents for that. Their time, money for fuel, wear and tear on their car and while they are showing someone around that doesn’t even know if they qualify for a home loan, they might be missing a sale. They work on commission. No sale, no money.

Since y’all are first time buyers, you need to talk to a loan officer and find out just how much house you can buy. How much down payment? Insurance and taxes are escrowed and add to the monthly note. Get the facts and know where you stand. Banks aren’t the only lenders, there are many out there.
This.

as long as you are happy. :) i'm the kind of person that has a lot of ideas but the turning out might not be to my satisfaction when it comes down to crafty so i know better and just hope it is functionally sound and accept the imperfections.
