NT sauerkraut recipe

I have a crock I had a local potter make for me. We made ceramic disc. But before that I used mason jars. Both with weights and without . I use the recipie with whey. I did notice the cabbage that was nice and fresh made a crisper finished product.

Now I'm craving kraut. :P

Oh, that bowl is enamel ware. I think its supposed to be a wash basin. But I got it at the bakery in the Baker Creek Village in Mansfield Mo.

I had to have it.
