More than half an inch of ice on water buckets this morning and my pail of sprouted oats froze in the time it took to fill hay racks, feed poultry, and snuggle with each goat in turn. Quick snuggle, with a little lingering on Ginger so I could observe her ginormousness and impending explosion.

I hope the weather doesn't go from super cold to super hot this year.

This is pretty typical for Colorado which is why nobody around here can grow decent radishes.

whooot! just sold the 2 Niblet doelings!

later this week the little buckling will be going on to greener pasture, then the neighbors will take Debbie's Milk Stealers this weekend... and then there will be nothing but cheese cheese and more cheese as far as the eye can see!

no she doesnt notice AT ALL. she said something about the "little people" and then remembered that she had to check her look in the mirror. and then one of her frenemies called and they spent the next 30 minutes complaining about "the baby weight" and plotting on how to get on Extreme Make Overs.

at last glance Sunny was out there taking care of the little boy. he's happy so thats just fine.
