The Sound of Music was the first movie I ever saw in a theater. I loved it. Didn't understand it but I loved it.

There's a sad sort of clanging
From the clock in the hall
And the bells in the steeple, too
And up in the nursery
An absurd little bird
Is popping out to say coo-coo
(Coo-coo, coo-coo)

(Brigitta, Gretel, Marta) (Fredrick, Leisel, Kurt, Louisa)
coo-coo Regretfully they tell us
coo-coo But firmly they compel us
to say goodnight
coo-coo
(All)
To you

(Children)
So long, farewell
Auf Wiedersehen, goodnight
(Marta)
I hate to go and leave this pretty sight

(Children)
So long, farewell
Auf Wiedersehen, adieu
(Fredrick)
Adieu, adieu
To you and you and you

(Children)
So long, farewell
Au revoir, Auf Weidersehen
(Leisel)
I'd like to stay
And taste my first champagne
(talking to the captain) yes?
(Captain) no!

(children)
So long, farewell
Auf Weidersehen, goodbye
(Kurt)
I leave and heave
A sigh and say goodbye
Goodbye

(Brigitta)
I'm glad to go
I cannot tell a lie
(Louisa)
I flit, I float
I fleetly flee, I fly

(Gretel)
The sun has gone
To bed and so must I

(Children)So long, farewell
Auf Weidersehen, goodbye

Goodbye
Goodbye
Goodbye

(guests)
Goodbye

(Henrietta23)
Goodnight!

HAH!!! Got it, Hen! Now that I've quoted you, you can't go back and edit it! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Make that: BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAA! (evil laugh...)

I am still swooning at the thought of all triplets from five goats. Thank goodness two are first fresheners and Mya has had two singles in a row....But I'll still have a doeling for you!

And anyone else, reserve your goats now!

Warning gruesome question ahead!!

All right I am going to say it ....

.... after all most of us will eat goat meat right?

Have any of you ever butchered your goat kids right after birth, as fryers? :ep :hide

I have heard of people doing it when there are multiples born, usually saving only the doelings. It is another way to save time, feed costs and get more milk in the pail.

They are so cute, I don't think I could eat that. Unless I were starving of course......

I honestly don't know that I could eat goat, period. Maybe if I was starving, but that would be about it.
