sounds like crazy busyness on the salvaging lol.


todays plan involves more painting, want to get the back bedroom finnished in terms of trim paint. if i manage to make a start on my bedroom too that woudl be great im putting off washing out my white paintbrush untill i know im done for a while lol, so its been living in a ziplock baggy with a tiny bit of water to keep it from drying out untill ive had enough of white to last me a while

I found you an edger today. They took three with them, so I knew they weren't going to take this one. I'll hold it for ya She's taking all the chairs, but leaving a table. Go figure

todays been crazyness.

Managed to finnish the trim in the guest bedroom and got 2 coats of trim paint in my bedroom too.
need to put on 1 more coat on the trim and doors in the morning...then another coat on the doors in the afternoon and the trim is officially DONE!

its taken 6 months and 2 gallons of semi gloss white but the mustard yellow cabinates and stormy grey trim are GONE! *dances*
covered my tomatoes and pepper plants tonight as the temps are supposed to drop with a possible scattered frost...same warning for tomorrow night then its supposed to head on back up to the high 70-mid 80's again lol. bipolar weather!

ive come to the conclusion i need to put together a "things i want/need" list not only for upcomming livestock but for decorative stuff too so i can start better budgeting to start putting the touches on this place to make it home.
like id love a conversation set for under the carport, and a little bistro set for the back deck, and planters, and a rocking chair for the front (i have one but woudl like another) an pretty pictures for all my rooms and such...
ive been so focused on the critters, that ive kinda forgot that this needs to be home too. im slowly working on the decorating part, but those little finnishing touches make it home.

i kinda want a cookie...

lol, thats if thered be any left i picked up a couple of "snack pack" cookie mixes for 50cents a pack makes a 1/2 batch...so i get 9 cookies out of 1 mix lol. works well for me though cause then im not tempted to eat too many becuase there "gonna go stale" lol

in other news, got an interesting email from someone about the babbits...this person told me i HAVE to sell them one of my babies THIS weekend so she can raise it as a bottle baby...
*blink blink*
im not talking "would you be willing" im talking "i want a rabbit and i want it asap so you need to let me pick one up this weekend and i can bottle feed it"
umm NO. lol. told her that i do not sell my babies untill 6 weeks old, it wouldnt be ethical, fair or healthy to the baby rabit to rip it from its mother before its weaned and it wouldnt be fair to the new owner to sell them a rabbit before its strong and healthy enough to thrive on its own. i only sell happy HEALTHY babies and wont risk my reputation or my rabbits health!

she hasnt emailed me back.

well we got patchy frost last night my tomatoes and pappers fared well under their redneck row coveres (garbage bags lol) tonights supposed to be 1 degree warmer than last night so ill be covering them up again.
unfortunatly did loos a bunny at some point on the overnight, one of rowans REW babies, it was out of the nest cold and stiff this morning. spent about 1/2 an hour warming it up with the hairdreyer but nothing, theres no saying when it fell out of the box as i checked them last at about 8pm and 8:30 am it was out and cold, paws were bruised though so dont know if rowan dragged it out or was trying to drag it back in.
the others seem to be doing well, all bluebells kits are doing great and the 8 remaining kits are al squeeky popples (they "pop" when you touch the nest lol) and starting to realy get that fur covering. sucks to loose one, but considering shes a first time momma and she had 9...i expected to potentially loose the entire litter, so if we only loose 1...well.


todays plan involves finnishing breakfast, then im going to do 1 last coat of paint on the trim and waindows in my bedroom, and another coat on the 2 doors. then house cleaning begins and after lunch then ill do what will hopefully be the final coat on the backs of the doors int he bedroom.. and then all the blue grey will be GONE, forever...
plea to anyone decorating your house. paint your trim whatever color youd like but please for the love of all, before you move, just paint it white....LOL. had this house been any bigger id still be painting trim this time next year, ugh.

theres a meet and greet tonight in jackson for a group i kind of belonged to in CT (obviously this areas chapter) still debating if imgoing to go. i also need to get intouch with the local goldwing riders association and see when they meet up so i can start going to their meets (im a member by proxie of my dad, motorcycle or not.) and it would be good to get to know more people in the general area...but its in jackson and its at a chinese buffet (though they do have an actual menue and there are things on the menue i like AND can eat!
i think we'll see how i feel a little later...se how long it takes me to get this place cleaned the trim finnished and me showered and relaxed a bit. upper body is a little tense this morning from painting the upper trim i think.

so yeah...exciting day LOL!
and its only Wednesday!
