well this morning im feeling very short tempered for some reason..heck ive been feeling realy off kilter ALL week, but today, every little thing is crawling under my skin.
this means another day of doing little in order to not explode. it also means ill be making some phone calls today tosee if i can find a local psych who takes my insurance so that i can refill my meds if i need to.
in Good news, down another 1 1/2lbs this past 2 weeks (my current aim is to loos 1lb every 2 weeks as i am slowing down on the weight loss front...
that leaves me with 4 1/2 lbs to my exactly 200lbs lost mark...hoping i can get there by the beginning of june. to loose 200lbs in LEss than 2 years is a feat even with the surgery (my dr initially said expect 150lbs to drop relitivly easily and 175lbs down by the end of my first 2 years and here i am 1 yr and 7 months out and 196lbs lighter...
Dozer however has GAINED 3 lbs in the last 2 weeks and now weighs 56lbs. at 6 1/2 months old. and yet hes still squished onto my chair and a half with my trying to climb into my lap as i type...he things hes 10lbs...tops lol.
my electric bill came in today at a few $$'s more than usual (only about $3) which i can only account for being the heat lamp for the brooder...not bad considering, but still need to cut that bill down further. so im planning on plugging my tv plug into the plugboard with my "none essential" fishtank stuff (lights, airpump and my wii are on that board) i only watch tv in the evenings, i now only plug my fishtank light in in the evenings, so why have the tv plugged in all day sipping...doesnt save much....but every penny helps.
Hoping my gas bill will come back a big fat 0, im sure theres a "service" fee or something, but ive had NO gas use at all this month, i set money aside for the gas bill already...but would be nice to put it to use.
todays plan...i need to get the hay and strawbale out of my car. need to dust the goat house with DE, and then top off with 1/2 the bale, the other half will get set aside for the next use, and need to give the girls hay too.
there deifnatly sarting to actually eat more...before they were just picking the grain and corn out of thegoat food, but now there actually eating the pellet too. whent through about 5 cups of food yesterday/overnight. so as of monday there getting cut back to 1 a day, and ill feed fresh grain twice a day then so im still bringing them something in the evenings.
i need ot get their portable pen bought and set up. not yet sure if im goig to do the 4 cattle pannels or just get a 50ft roll of welded wire and T-Posts to do the pen, will have to weigh the pros and cons of moving the entire thing on a regular basis. going to take it around the perimeter of the proprty to start out and buy a roll of welded wire each month and put it upas they go...its the best way i cna think of to get the perimeter fenced without brekaing the bank by trying to do it all at once. then once ive to enough wire to go the full perimeter and got it up losely ill save up to have someone come in with a post setter and fence puller and have them set proper corner posts, stretch the fence propery and re-set the t-posts to the whole thing is properly set then. i figure if iv ealready got the fencing and most f the posts itll cost alot less to have someone come in and just tighten everything up...
but we'll see. lol.
ive been making lots of big plans in my head for where i want things.
i want to eventually as a 3 car garage of soe kind, 1 bay will be for storing hay and straw, the other 2 will be for actual vehicles.
and a BIG chicken coop (itll actually be more of a bird complex ith multiple pens...
and a goat barn which WILL have running water and electricity...
oooo so many thoughts running through my head right now
