This is the kit that has the most white on its face.

This one has a stripe and a white nose.

This one just a dot and a white nose. The rest of Belles kits are all black.

Good news....the Great Jumping Bean baby bunny is still doing fine this morning. I about had a heart attack when it just "binged" out of my hand and took a nose dive off the side of the crate and hit the lid of the tote. Its got some spring in those little legs!

I dont know if its true or not, but with the looming second lockdowns approaching, there is rumor that the truck drivers are going to strike from the 26th thru the 29th. Panic buying has picked up in some areas and restrictions on how much you can buy are being enforced again, so how long before the shelves are bare again if this happens?
It will, Im afraid, mean the final kick to collapse our nation.

nah, we're tougher than that and tougher than this virus. just need to be patient and help each other out. try not to panic or pass along harmful and unsubstantiated conspiracy theories or other things that people may act upon which causes harm to others. (and i'm not saying that by posting the above you are doing that, but i think it is a good point to bring up to people who seem on the edge). help talk people down and encourage them to find the good things they can in what is around them.

Today I put up some shade clothe for the rabbits. Yesterday it got up to 92 and my red NZ buck looked like he may of heat stroked a little. He had some slobber on his chin. I had put ice water bottles out there to help cool them but dont think it helped much. They have shade most of the day, but the afternoons its not alot so Im hoping the clothe helps. Thier water was very hot from the sun on it so I exchanged it for cooler water.

I had shade clothe on the red bucks cage but with the heat and the humidity making it about 105 degrees yesterday it didnt help much.

Moved the REW buck🐰 back into a cage in the barn because he is getting peed on by the doe next to him and he is no longer white. Im going to mix up a vinegar and baking soda solution to try and clean some if the urine off his face and sides so not to attract flies and he gets fly strike ontop of that.😕
Male bunnies just cant keep thier noses out of where they dont belong. 🤦‍♀️

What rat poison? We use One Bite every fall under the house to keep mice from coming in the house.

We had a snake in a coop yesterday where I am raising replacements pullets. From 12 I now have 9. There was 1 dead and one in his belly, so it must have got one on an earlier visit. I went for my secret weapon-PARIS!!

BJ handed me a shovel, I jabbed the snake, it tried to escape and Paris grabbed it. Between me, the shovel and Paris, that snake was dead, dead, dead. BJ slung it over the fence to the pigs. They ate the pullet out of it first, then started on the rest of it. I love that dog. She is so fierce. None of the other dogs go for snakes, but she sure does.
