I heard tonight.

Estimated cost to the private sector of this bill...hundreds of millions of dollars.

If this thing passed...once of the major companies to benefit? Monsanto!

I heard the same; that's some scary sh*t. I looked at DH & said "Now you know why I want to grow more of our own food??" (Of course he just gave me a blank look.) :/

I know there are calls going out to the hill. Glenn Beck talked about this bill on his show and urged people to let their reps know how they felt about it.

Glenn said on his radio show this morning that the vote was delayed because of all the calls...apparently it's still expected to pass later today.

Stossel just did a quick piece on it on the Fox business network.

We still have time for calls and emails people.

apparently it has passed 73-25. it's interesting that they had to delay the vote because of so many calls about this bill and yet it still passed by overwhelming majority. they only needed 60 votes...

All my partying and irresponsible behavior as a teen and I just might end up going to jail as a 47 year old for being a food rebel :p
