Now I have to see where I am gonna store everything. I am totally gonna stock all my bins up with grain for the animals because I can figure how to survive as long as I can keep them alive. Eggs, meat, milk from them and fruit and vegetables from the garden and orchard. I will totally milk a few does if I can.

A garden, some chickens and dairy goat. Essentials?

My girls will start kidding in March, it appears. I'll probably milk 4 this year. I get $6 a gallon for sales. Low on cheeses now so will freeze up some ricotta for winter and want to try hard cheese this year. 🤞 I plan to milk into winter with two.

This price increase situation isn't going to get better. Plan on it.

There were no fridge biscuits or cookie dough at the store today. Whole spot was empty. They put widely spaced yogurt tubs in the spot and it caught my attention. No sandwich crackers either. Those I was looking for because hubby takes them in lunch. They've been out for weeks.

sandwich crackers?

The large container of decaf coffee we normally buy jumped from $17 to $22. We have 8 in the basement pantry from when it was on sale for $13.
reminder that coffee was predicted to increase for different reasons than inflation. Brazil had a rough year for coffee production. For reasons I don't understand, the high coffee prices were predicted to last more than a season. I stocked up and bought about a year's worth of coffee before prices went up. Glad you have a stock too, I hope it lasts until prices are back to normal.
