No frost here for this week at least, though highs in the 60's and lows in the upper 30's are forecast. I too have had to turn on the heat at least in the living room to maintain temps around 65 for my cold sensitive plants.

I don't really feel ready for the coming colder weather--it seems like the older I get the more I feel the cold, and I'm (as usual) running late getting things squared away for the coming season.

While in the PNW, we are still having 80's. And no rain in sight.... :(

Yes. It was over 80° here today southeast of Tacoma. The lack of rain is very worrying. We also haven't had our fall windstorm to knock down all the dead branches before winter.

The heat has played havoc with toxin levels on the razor clams as well. We are planning for the tentative dig this weekend
