First time for this method but, like results so far. About 3/4 cup ham chunks on bottom. 1.25 c dry beans, hot water to fill line. 90 min @10#. Beans kept meat in place. All sealed.

I went to a thrift store that I don’t go to very often because they have odd hours and seem to always be closed when I drive by. (They run a food pantry and I guess they aren’t open during the scheduled food pickup times.

Anyway, I got 22 jars for 50 cents each! Regular and wide mouth pints and quarts. The lady said they had just got them in this morning. So I was lucky on two counts.

Got a sale txt from a lid supplier which totaled out at 50cent for a lid& ring, reg; 52 WM. Just lids 30-33 cents each. I'm thrilled to have over stocked up last year! 🙂

Never used tattler but considering a slow purchase of a few. I'll do a doz first to try, use product & check repeat use, prior to any large buy. I see bulk 100 lid/seal, $80 & $88 reg/WM.
On 2nd use, the pay for themselves, next use free. Problem, 😄 don't open jars for 2-3 yrs. Reviews mention seal failures. Scary.

Anyone using now? Opinions. Pros/cons?
