14 pints...rings off & washed, jars washed, canner washed. All too hot last night. Wait a week, recheck seals & to pantry. There's shelf room and that tells me I've been using from there 😊 That's the difficult part for me -- using! Strictly mental as to being "done" & looking good, then using & needing to "re do". :lol: defeats the entire purpose.
A hundred yrs ago & off grid, using wasn't a problem. Now it's too easy. Stores everywhere. But home grown & canned keeps us healthier. No added chemicals. Worth it to me.

That & preserving our lovely gardens for yr round!!

Thanks. I'm considering canning more ground beef, more chicken breast this weekend...make freezer room for other things. Gotta pull out & thaw. Quite a few onions need to be preserved in some way -- hamburger patties with onion gravy in jars is a thought.
