Tried a jar for lunch, now that is been a few weeks to sit and blend flavors. So good!

8 pts chicken breast in canner, another 30 min. Another canner full waiting. Some sales ya can't pass up! Veggies I grow & no harvest problems. Chickens I grow, harvest is sad & messy

14 pints...rings off & washed, jars washed, canner washed. All too hot last night. Wait a week, recheck seals & to pantry. There's shelf room and that tells me I've been using from there That's the difficult part for me -- using! Strictly mental as to being "done" & looking good, then using & needing to "re do". defeats the entire purpose.
A hundred yrs ago & off grid, using wasn't a problem. Now it's too easy. Stores everywhere. But home grown & canned keeps us healthier. No added chemicals. Worth it to me.

That & preserving our lovely gardens for yr round!!
