I can find very little information on Swerve except there's apparently some video game called Swerve 🙄. Found some info on Amazon questions

Doh, wife is allergic to Stevia, not Swerve. My brain was in low gear yesterday.

Swerve has lots of options, granulated, powdered, brown, etc...

@CrealCritter What about stevia for sweetener? You can grow that.

Taste factors?

Stevia leaf has a taste and can be bitter on the aftertaste. I've used it for the last two decades with my teas off and on. Dried leaf mixed in normally.

It still boggles my mind to think what they had to do (chemically) to stevia to make it safe for mass consumption because all my old herbal books said it wasn't safe for pregnant women.
