What did you do in your garden today?

$7 of sunchoke tubers into the ground. Was 17 of them. I'll see how they do. They are in the driest part of the garden for winter.

They did look ready to start growing and a few had little roots. Got them in the produce area at Pal-do World. I've bought them before to eat.
I planted mine in the fall of 2023. They came up and did well in the spring of 2024 and are already up this year.

I'm soooo late starting! So yesterday at the livestock auction I bought 13 tomato plants, $1 ea. About 2 ft tall .... Plus 5 -- 9 wk old buff orp pullets $8 ea. 👍👍. Just as taking from trailer -- that had taken a load of bucklings to sell! 🤣. No need to come home empty. Nice check came home in my pocket, too.

Actually I think not. But that's fine! I can pen them when eggs come and have purebred BO chicks. Ya know how it goes . Real kicker is I thought it was a 4 pack but, when I pd saw it was a 5 pack. Ya bid per and times # in container. Hadn't looked earlier, so still happy.
