I noticed we don't have a thread to show some of the neat things we make for meals. So post them on up here.

Here's todays for me. One of the local restaurant supply had packs of beef tri-tip on sale. There were 4 of them in the pack. Nice sized fat cap, which is usually removed amywhere else if you can find them.

Fat cap is a must for what I wanted to do. Put on a nice dry rub and smoked them all up today.

I pulled 3 of them off a hour before done. It's at 350° anyway and they can do that cooking in the oven later. I'll vacuum seal and freeze them.

The last one is just about done. Super tender and the smell is killing me.

We prepared eggplant omelets, fried rice, fried fish, and a big glass of pineapple juice. the kids didn't like the omelet that much, but they do like the pineapple juice. :D

Curry. But the chicken thighs I cooked up in butter and ginger with rice would have been enough! Really yum and enough vegetable curry leftover for a few days.

I'm thinking crackers and cheese. So creative....lol!

homemade goat cheese????

I had chicken breast, cole slaw & potato salad last night.

Night before -- a pint of goat milk. :idunno So cold, so creamy, so full! LOL didn't want anything else. Looking at the 4 gal in there, I'm thinking ice cream. But, probably will be more cheese. Freezer is full. I'm only one person here & just can't eat enough.

Baby Bear and I had a 1/2 rack of big blues que baby back ribs, with a side each of, potato salad & BBQ baked beans. Baby bear didn't get any sides:)

Big Blues Que is voted the best BBQ in southern IL and never a let down.
