WOULD YOU RATHER...(forum game)

Four mini, 2- to 3-day vacations in a year to places within 6 hours...easily! I'd miss our place too much if we were gone for a week or more! :D

Cooking/baking using electric, gas, propane, woodstove or open fire pit?

Have used all of the above and am learning on the open fire pit but I can't stand...it probably doesn't help that our propane oven is older but I haven't made a good loaf of homemade bread since I've been stuck using it and I miss bread baking! :hit

Electric. I'll admit that gas and propane scare me, I've never baked w/a wood stove, and will only cook over an open fire if camping.

Me&thegals, I'll admit, your question threw me for a sec. I'm used to the word mini referring to miniature horses!

When dining out, soup or salad?

Mostly soup now, depends on the restaurant.

I'm used to an electric stove. The last time I had a gas stove, it was like learning to cook all over again. But I do like using my little woodburner for cooking soups, etc during the winter. Appeals to the cheap side of me, I guess.

Vacation? What's that?

Fiction or non-fiction?

Non, just because the truth is usually stranger......

Sit in a cold deer stand or do morning chores?

Do morning chores, that one's easy. I don't really like the cold especially if I am just sitting there and I really kind of enjoy my morning chores. Watering, weeding and harvesting from the gardens, feeding the dogs and giving them some play time, getting things out for dinner that night, and so on. I don't have a bad chores list and I enjoy the quiet in the house in the morning. The dogs and I are usually the only ones up. I think even if I had my land and some livestock to tend to I'd still enjoy it.

When dining out, soup or salad? Sou for sure. I love soup and I am not good a cooking it. I can always make a salad.

Fiction or non-fiction? Non fiction. I really like true pirate stories.

Four mini, 2- to 3-day vacations in a year to places within 6 hours, or one larger, cross-country 1- to 2-week trip? I agree with Dawn419 on this one. I'd miss home if I were gone to long and taking shorter vacations more often and spreading it out over gives you more breaks than doing it all at once. Then you always have something to look forward to.

Off the grid, but having to haul water by bucket into the house, or paying the bills for convenience? hauling water? Booooo! I'd pay the bill. Better yet I rather have my pump hooked up to solar or something.

Ok, now for my question........ hum................OK, duel purpose birds or meet birds for meet and layers for laying?

I would rather have layers for laying and no meat birds,we did meats this year and I hated the processing.

So....would you rather clean the chicken coop or the oven?

Oh, goodness--the oven! I can just lock the door and turn on the "clean" button. The coop takes a good 10 hours of hard, hard work.

Cross-country skiing or snow-shoeing?

The coop!! Done in 15 minutes, flat. We're supposed to clean the oven?

The ol' bod won't let me do either cross country skiing or snow shoe-ing, but I'll gladly pitch snowballs at you all as you go by. Now I'll hush up, I'm spending entirely too much time on here again today! :D

You didn't post a question!

OK, the only snow shoeing I do is for feeding, and I don't know how to cross country ski, so I'll stay on the sidelines w/Marianne and throw snow balls at you.

Here's a tough one, clean house, or play on SS forum.

:yuckyuck
Well, that one was easy, play here on the forum!!

I purposely didn't post another question, I have posted plenty of them already. Guess who's been playing on here too much? LOL

Okay, peanut butter or your nut spread of choice: Chunky or smooth?
