In the stuff we cleaned there were dozens and dozens of wild turkey bottles. Not long ago, we saw Max coming out of the woods carrying another bottle that we apparently missed!

I got a fair bit done today and I'm very happy about that. I had one of those "Am I ever going to get this done?" moments this afternoon, looking at how much I still have to do. And it's a lot. I put my head down, started filling the bucket with compost, one after another, junk out through the window, rusty meal bits, over the wall, bottles that way... before I knew it I cleaned out a good space :) I cut out some more tree roots as well.

Right now… I need to do that area around the door still. That is not going to be easy. The bit behind the tree where I pulled the fence wire out, I see junk there, so depending on the bleeping tree roots, that may go easy. Then lowering the dirt all over the shed some. Dig out the doorway on the outside… Move all the junk I dug up and tossed out to somewhere. I'm going to consult with my landlord about that and see what he suggests… Attack the tree stump again and make it smaller. Get a roof on and window in…

I'm tired. I'm not going to lie, I'm exhausted and feeling overwhelmed at times, like today. Looking at what needs doing still… I just got stuck in there today and pushed and then I saw I'm making good progress and kept going. It helped :) I keep telling myself every few square inches I clear is a few more square inches cleared and closer to "done". I'll get there. A few more days like today? I'll get there.

I dug all this out… about 1.5 to 2 feet down, across to the doorway on the left and over to and including the grey metal bucket below. By hand. Too much bottles and other stuff to use the spade in there. I use the yellow bucket to gather compost into, which I cart off to the heap. I took a few loads out today…

Getting there… I have a massive pile of junk outside now (looking at skips at the moment), but inside I'm winning. If I can blow that tree up now, it'd be great… lol Look at those dang roots! Those things are making things difficult for me in there.

I'm working where the yellow bucket is today, back towards the back wall.
