It's so easy to believe all the theories - but I choose not to go there. It won't change how I live my life at this point so why drive myself crazy over it?Just a personal choice.
Agree. But sometimes it just makes me boil and rant!
Then I have a wine. Calm. Remember my roots and that I'm ok. Annoyed but, ok.

Was $3.999 yesterday, now $4.099 today. Look at diesel though.Its $3.99 here today. Yesterday it was $3.79.

3 five gallon gas cans and the rest in the tank. The pump stoped at $95.00 saying "Limit Exceeded" and wouldn't pump any more.

Where I buy my off- Rd diesel went up 40 cent a gal a jump Fri night. I'm just "over it". I HATE all these price ups and supply downs but, I have to endure and work through it.
So all my SS background will be called upon to get through it. Garden, preserving, bartering, etc. It'll work. I won't quit my job this year, that's a given! But seeing my goats bagging up, 9 doz eggs in frig 
, a freezer pretty full and enough seed for several families -- it makes me thankful and grateful. I'll make do. Not going hungry. I have a house. Bills are paid. Enough to pay the prices. I'm good!! Still complaining but, hate to have to tighten up without being my choice.
We've got this!! Look around yourself. I Thank God for being where I am in life.

I think that's the best way to approach this! I have enough things to worry about without spending a lot of energy on something I can't change. Just gotta put your head down and keep doing what we do. This is the type of situation that many of us have prepared for.
