WHAT ARE YOU CANNING TODAY?

got the tomatoes picked and lined up ready to get going, but i need a few more minutes break before i start in on them.
 
Salsa, pickled pureed jalapeños, whole cherry tomatoes for certain. Amount of tomatoes left after salsa will determine what else

Would like to just WB today, if possible
8 pints cherry tomatoes (chili garnish), 8 half pints salsa (each good for one sitting for the wife), 18 1/4 pints of of jalapeños.

With this, my friends, with the exception of red beets if they make it in time later next month,
soups,stews, or chili's as we see meat specials, concludes the summer canning season.

Any additional veggies are going straight into the dehydrator.

What did you put in with the cherry tomatoes?
I love to can cherry tomatoes and thought about adding garlic but have heard that garlic will go bitter when canned.
1/2 pint jars.
Cold pack the tomatoes, 1/4 tsp lemon juice, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/2 garlic clove, fill with hot water, WB 40-45 minutes
