I have a very nice, fluffy mattress pad that I would like to hang out on the laundry line...just to freshen it up. Does anyone have a natural, homemade spray that would work for this purpose? I was thinking lemon juice/peel with water. What do you think or suggest? Thanks!

I agree and I added the citric acid in the form of the kool-aid. I tried it a few times and was not happy w/the cleanliness or the cloudiness :/ I have fairly-hard water, so I don't know if that's a factor as well?

Our family just received our farm-raised 1/2 a pig this weekend. I must RAVE about the flavor difference, or it could just be all in my head, since I know how our pig was raised and butchered :P I will never eat another type of pork ever again! We would love to raise our own, but not enough...

I just bought my 2nd, 25lb bag of bleached flour and spend $7-ish. Although the price is good...I really don't want to feed my family bleached flour. So, where do you buy your unbleached flour? TIA :D

I use a dry recipe: 1 cup borax ( I buy mine @ Target or Meijer) 1 cup washing soda (I buy mine @ Target) 1 cup grated fels naptha (Kroger or soapsgonebuy.com) 1/2 cup baking soda (everywhere) Just type in "laundry soap" into the search box and you'll get lots of ideas :thumbsup
