    is it too late?

I can sympathize with you on getting a late start. The last couple of years I have had tiller trouble and got a late start. This year is great. Got lots planted and I also plan to have a fall garden. I didn't get as much lettuce, chard or spinach as I wanted so I will plant late summer for a...

I did check with Iowa's Ag dept. Green beans, tomatoes and cucumbers are acceptable to plant in June.

    is it too late?

I planted sunflowers and green beans yesterday. You should be OK with tomatoes and beans. Check with your state Ag department. They usually have a chart showing what to plant when. Good Luck!

    Itchy Dog...benadryl ain't cutting it....

Our dog had problems with hot spots, hair loss and an awful smell. We put ACV (about 1 tbsp.) in his drinking water and within three days showed great improvement.

    An odd question

I work in the Department of Microbiology at Miami University in Oxford, OH. They teach a lab in which students swab different areas of the building and grow the cultures in petri dishes. They find the most germs on the handles of the doors and hand railings in the stairwells.:sick

I liked the setup with the pool. I wouldn't mind trying that even if it wasn't for emergency preparedness. It is a good utilization of resources.:thumbsup
