Any ideas on what to do with water that has a lot of iron in it? We have a filter on the water line and the county guys say it's not the well, it's the water supply that's bad. We change the filters at least every 2 weeks when they should be lasting for 6 months. Any ideas?

I canned some tomatoes in November and in December....they were beautiful until this weekend when I wanted to use them to make soup. They molded!!!!!!!! The lids were sealed, all looked great, but had mold!!!! What the heck happened? Where did I go wrong?
