    Me too!! only difference is I have the pro baby lace ups, solves the hard to fit through the ankle problem! If you get them wifezilla, change out the cheap shoe strings, they don't always stay tied and then you fall down and we won't go there.

    Apricots in my turkey roaster! I put a little wire rack with some cloth, set it for 135 and viola, a dehydrater!

    Fire Wood (the way to go)

    When we lived in snow country, wood was our only source of heat and I liked it mostly. We moved here to CA, and wood as a heating source is pretty tightly regulated, otherwise we could use our downed oak trees for heat.

    lol! In the summer the skunks have regular parties outside my open bed room window, must be my snoring that sets them off! The smell dissipates on its own pretty quickly.

    Anybody ever FREEZE their eggs?

    I have done it. I break the yoke and swirl it a little and add a dash of salt. I use them for baking, but not as a fresh breakfast egg! Its nice to have them, now that my hens have slowed way down!
