Birch Syrup

My husband would probably do it. He's more patient than me. Does it have the same boiling point? Basically the same process?

Yes, it's basically like the process for Maple Syrup. The only thing is Birch trees have to be checked 2-3 times per day depending on the weather for that day. Birch sap runs mid March through mid April so it's right after Maple sap time.

Lol right? I've never heard of anyone actually selling or buying it here. I would have to find out if there's even a market for it here.

I've heard of birch syrup but not hickory syrup. We have hickory trees everywhere but I don't know if they are Shagbark or not. I never thought about different kinds but it makes sense there would be.
