I'm pawpaw again \o/ son and daughter in law adopted 7 year old girl, a couple months again. I've been slowly gaining her trust, she lives 2 1/2 hours away so I've only met her a hand full of times. She's awesome and doing very well, all things considering.

Over Easter, she called me pawpaw for the first time and gave me a big hug and told me she loved me ❤️ I didn't consider it official till she called me pawpaw.

After Easter supper, I took the granddaughter to the neighbors to see baby goats. Oh boy, they liked them, A LOT 😂

we have a little snow coming down today, not much accumulation expected. the moisture of recent rains and cooler weather is much appreciated, plus a few days off from being outside while the trees are pollinating.

His sausage, mushroom, onion, green pepper & basil

Dough is wheat berries from my neighbor's farm field. It's not white (bleached) just ground and sifted wheat berries. Dough acted like any other I messed with, raised well and stretched well.

Dough had a slight sweet taste. It was kind of weird, eating a pizza without a white crust. It's the first unbleached flour pizza crust I've ever had. Farm Babe like hers also. Everything but the cheese and mushrooms grown or raised right here in the neighborhood.

Farm Babe agrees this test pizza was a success. The crust is not over done, that's it's natural color.

I guess this is what they call whole wheat? The bran, germ and the endosperm (the entire wheat berry) all ground into flour?
