This type of $ issue is so hard, and true, for so many. The trickle down are the lines at food banks, power cut offs, evictions, car repos, etc. Most people don't have resources to pay bills for months without working. More of this is happening than most realize. Sad!

Sorry to hear these additional stresses in your family.

I rarely "need" to go to town. I go for feed about every other week. I could live without buying any groceries for months - especially now that I get a produce delivery from Imperfect Foods every week. But, DH has appointment after appointment that he goes to. He's got several cardiologist appointments coming up, an eye doc appointment and multiple dental appointments too. Hard to socially isolate when you have to be around doctors all the time!

How do you like them? Saw a neighbour gets them but I dont see them out very often (found out recently they are high risk to catch it)

One of the roomies just had a scare with the Rona, they've been home for 2 weeks and just getting back to work now. This same roommate lost some family members in cali to the rona over the last few months.

I hope everyone's family and friends who have caught it heal quickly!

none of this is easy for anyone. all i can keep telling myself is that i'd rather be alive than dead, i'd rather not get sick, i'd rather not have Mom get sick.

govenor said last night that three week shut down for schools, colleges, casinos, dine-in restaurants, and some other things, but no mandatory stay at home order or anything other than a recommendation to not gather for TG.

i keep telling my pod people we'll still come for TG as long as everyone remains safe. with the shutdown of casinos that is actually going to help with my major concerns with one person as i consider that a really likely vector into our pod.

one friend got it from work, they shut down work, but they've spread it to their spouse now who sounds pretty raspy and is sick from it. :( gonna be a long next few weeks. i just want to hibernate...

5% of my town tested positive in the last week. 10% of the town has had it. County-wide is looking bad. Happy Halloween 2 weeks ago! 😡

I will not attend TG this year and I have talked my sister into cx TG altogether. My thoughts on TG is no matter the social distance we feel that we will provide this will not ring true, now, take into the fact that we will be exposed to and expose others that we love for an extended amount of time the longer we would be together, the higher the risk, I love my family but not to death, I will wait.
