Tomorrow will be better. i had an emergency root canal without anesthesia once, and it felt better within 5 minutes. (I had spent the night before feeling my exploding nerve rather too much.)

Thanks, guys. I certainly hope so. And, I tell people about that phone call and they do one of 2 things, laugh, or their jaw drops about 10 inches, and their eyes get real big!

And, once again, I'm up in the middle of the night. This time, it's because my DD is broke down. Her alternator isn't working, so hubby has taken the battery out of my truck to go and get her. She could have called AAA, but I'll admit to not really wanting her broke down by the side of the road at this time of day. He'd just better put my battery back in! I need my truck today. I have to get feed, plus I have my doctor's appointment today. I don't really want to have to take my bike because of all the clothes I'd have to put on to stay warm.

Well, he didn't take my battery out, just jumped her 2x on the way home. And, right now, he and my son are out there attempting to put the new alternator in.

Today was better in some ways, but very rushed. I overslept this morning, and just barely had time to get everything done that I had to get done B4 going to my doctor's appointment. I had a horrible time finding the office! It's on the same road as a hospital, and I thought the office was nearer the hospital, but hadn't written down the street numer. So, of course I couldn't find it. Pulled over and tried to call them. Their phones were down. I finally ended up calling directory assistance in the hope that they had a different number. They didn't, but they did have the street listing. So, I was finally able to find it.

I get in, and they didn't receive the fax from the other doctor w/my records. So, I had to call them and ask them to fax them over. They were nice enough to do that. And, I have a date, 1/20/12.

There's a Wal-Mart right near there, so I went in and got a few things I needed. Then, I went to a pet store and got some frozen mice for my daughter's pet snake. I had stopped on my way to drop off my glasses. I needed a stronger prescription, and since the insurance pays very little towards the frames, I just got new lenses. So, they put them in while I was at my appointment. From there, I rushed back to the farm and did what I needed to there, then went to TSC and got some feed, then got gas ($3.00 9/10 a gallon!), and from there, I went home. I got everything unloaded, put away some clothes and made dinner. Now I'm relaxing w/my dinner and thinking about going to bed early.
