They've posted a winter storm watch starting tomorrow afternoon, I think that's a bit earlier now than they were predicting. We had heard after 8 pm tomorrow night. We'll see!

Every time I get hepped up about a snowstorm it turns to rain - it's usually a surprise storm that really dumps on us. But I'm keeping my fingers crossed, we could really use the money if he plows, especially for the state! :fl
Ewww...fingers crossed for alot of snow for your hubby!!!

We're getting some freezing rain mixed with snow and sleet right now. :(

I am cold.

Just cold.

House is warm and all, but I got that cold to the bone feeling.

I hate that.

Brrr....

Party at my house. Tomorrow will be 70 and sunny. Come on over!!! :hide

I am sorry to hear about all your rough weather. Good to hear most of you are ready for it.

Be safe.

Speaking of Bee when is she due back. I am worried about her.

Karen, stop working you wanted to cut back anyways.

Lori, granny will be just fine with your little ones to keep her warm.

OFG -Bring the bacon with you!!

lol, gina

for sunny and 70*!?!? heck have a pig ready and i'll butcher it for you AND make you bacon!

whoot!

dang that snow is really coming down.....

the funnest and funniest thing about snow is that the hens HATE it! they will be out there in -30* with no problem. but if there ONE small flake of snow on the ground they all stay inside. once i even had to go and get my mean rooster b/c he wouldnt walk on the snow back to the hen house. its gonna be a long day tomorrow for the poultry. and now i'll have to come up with ways to amuse them and keep them busy. sigh.

wonder how my little duckies will do....

'nite everyone! good luck! stay warm!

You are absolutely right Gina

Time to chill-----CHILL----BBBrrrrrr....

70 and sunny--them's fightin' words --you best be under that chair saying that out loud! :gig

12:11 and I am tired...off to bed now and up at 6 (i am sleeping in..lol)
(I see a problem here..LOL)

night all!

Tank, I never even got started tonight....my boy called and all GH buses ground to a halt and nothing moves above Knoxsville, TN tonight and they will re-assess the situation in the morning light.

Poor fellow is spending the night with all the other poor travelers, trapped in a bus station..... :( He was pretty down but I told him to cheer up a little by reminding him that some soldiers don't even get to come home for the holidays and see their families.

I'm of the firm belief that ALL situations or events in one's life holds potential for adventure, whether we see it or not ,at first glance. Everything happens for a reason and something really neat or educational, or even spiritual, can happen when strangers are thrown together in an emergency situation.

I want him home as bad as he wants to come home, but this is just one of those things. At least he has his laptop computer and numerous downloaded movies with which to amuse himself. :thumbsup

AND...I get to tackle this snow-covered wonderland in the beautiful light of day instead of driving into a hypnotic blizzard in the middle of the slippery night.....amen!!!! :fl :D Will be taking pics as I travel tomorrow......

You know, if this were a movie, he would be standing by a window, gazing out at the snow drifts, a tear in his eye, when a portly bearded man would strike up a conversation with him. One thing would lead to another, and the older man would know just what to say, would touch his heart and give him hope, then mysteriosly disappear. Cut to a shot of the moon, and the silhouette of a flying sleigh crosses it, as we hear a hearty Ho Ho Ho.
