Bought 10 more pounds of chicken breasts. Tomorrow's task is to get them canned up.

I guess (really I have been informed) we will be doing another 10 pounds next weekend.

14 pints of potatoes in the canner. 10 pounds of chicken cut up, waiting for its turn. That is my limit today

12 pints of chicken processing now. The wife did most of the jar packing and is getting more and more comfortable with the fact a minor imperfection in the process won't ruin the whole batch. ❤️

Water bathing 24 1/4 pint jars of the spiced orange honey recipe that I had posted somewhere here. She did all the prep work, I just helped with filling the jars and getting into the hot water bath.

Here ya go! I used both golden and regular green zucchini. It tasted great before I canned it - haven't opened one yet but probably will for dinner.

surprise, more potatoes. these are all canned in grocery jars. most are atlas mason jars. all took 10lbs just fine.

just to be clear for those reading along, these are pressure canned for how long?

well the ball book says 40 mins for quarts. these are 1.5 pints so we processed 40 mins at 10lbs
