... more swiss chard tonight (sauteed), and I threw some nasturtiums into the salad. Grasshoppers got my lettuces, and now the heat is making what's left bolt... *sigh*

I picked some peas yesterday. May cook them with our dinner this evening.

That looks WAY bigger than a large apple, Sumi!!! You must have great soil. Let us know how it tastes....should be a LOT of water in that one, with that shape. How will you prepare it?

I'm not sure how I'm going to prepare it yet… It's kinda big lol And I'm the only here that eats them. I think I may boil some of it with onions and eat it with butter, salt and pepper. I love them that way. The rest I may fry up with something, like a pork chop.

Wonder how it would do baked? I saw some baked zucchini recipes once that looked pretty tasty....

Guess you'd have to modify this somewhat due to the shape and size of your vessel/squash.

DD1 ate the first ripe cherry tomato yesterday! Other than that, mostly we've just eaten lettuce.

Yay for the first tomato!!

Let's see - what did I eat from the garden today? Does milk from a doe who ate weeds in the garden count?

Serviceberries and blackberries.

All the blackberries are starting to ripen finally. I'll have enough to make seedless jam in a few weeks
