Hope some chocolate makes you feel better Dace!
OH! They're SOOO good! Thanks BBH!

My son doesn't quite love the peanut butter flavor so might try a different nut butter next time (second batch is cooling now! ) but they are delicious!

Tomorrow, Black Bean Cake!

I am using a jarred almond butter, I tasted the batter and am worried that the kids won't like almond butter. Maybe next time I will grind up some fresh almonds and maybe macadamias...oh that sounds good!

My oven just dinged--they are ready. as I was mixing up the batter, I thought it was way too thick, so I added in another 1/2 cup of squash. (I used leftover acorn that we had for dinner the other night.) My question is, what size pan did you put yours in? I put mine in a bread loaf pan.

When I tasted the batter, i thought my kids will love it--it tastes like peanut butter cups. Now, after it cools a bit, it will go nicely with a cup of coffee for our breakfast.

Mine turned out ok, two kids ate it, one of them had two pieces.

I thought it tasted a little different, but I am a purist :/ I love me a real brownie :)

But I told them they were gluten free so of course they would expect them to taste a little different. Not sure that I love the background almondy flavor. I also added some roughly chopped peanuts to the surface to mask it a little :gig

MTN....how did yours turn out? Maybe peanut butter brownies is the way to go.

Dace you have very refined taste buds...or maybe I'm just deprived, but all I tasted was chocolate. :p (I made mine with 4 T of cocoa.)

I used a square brownie pan, I think 8 x 8 or something like that.

I just tried mine hot out of the oven 15 minutes ago..I like,,I found it very moist and not squashy at all..goes perfectly with a big glass of raw goat milk..I think I found my new dish to bring to potluck events..black bean cake is next on the list..lol.I have found that after eating clean for only a couple weeks,,I dont like sugar anymore !! this is awesome!!
