Did 30 pints of black beans yesterday.

Those canned beans are such a great thing to have. I try to can up a lot but I can hardly keep up. We love beans in all kinds of things. I need to put some more up.

I put bananas in the dehydrator and canned up a canner load (7 quarts) or plums. Today I decided to try and save some time and cold packed them. Now I have a half a jar of plum and juice too. DH is excited about the juice as or more than the fruit itself. The only juice I like is tomato or vegetable juice.

An update on the grape juice I canned awhile back. One jar didn't seal so I had it in the refrigerator. Grandson was appalled Grandma didn't have juice so I put some of that in his sippie cup and he thought that was pretty good but then again he like the juice from the jar of plums that didn't seal either.

Canned 4 pints of rhubarb-blueberry-cherry sauce. Would be divine on a cheesecake or ice cream!

Also made refrigerator radish pickle experiment!
