    Halloween costume ideas for kid and pony-King Arthur it is!

    DS will be riding in a show on Oct 30 and apparently costumes are expected. I'd love to come up with something original. Or have one of you do it for me!! Grandma can sew and I can a bit too. I'm fierce with a hot glue gun as well!!

    Blessing of the Animals~Oh Dorian!!!!

    An annual event held at our Vicar and his wife's home. Daisy came to be blessed this time, along with the "baby" ducks Petunia and Moonstone, and Mary the angora bunny. Somehow I never managed to get pics of them! Someone else did though so when they're posted on the church website I'll steal them!

    Need a Cub Scout skit idea

    Gluten free French Onion soup

    I love love love French onion soup and just read a great way to make it GF is to use a portobello mushroom in place of the bread under the cheese. Pop it under the broiler to cook the mushroom and brown the cheese and Voila! Anybody ever made it like that?
